We are committed to providing the facilities and services to accommodate a variety of family, social, and business activities in an enjoyable environment with camaraderie and fun. We constantly strive to improve all facets of our Club to better serve the changing needs of our membership. Golf Course
Our History
In 1930, Al Wenrick, a prominent industrialist, had an idea…turn 150 acres of his farmland into a gorgeous golf course.
Five years later, his dream became a reality, and members of the Club have been enjoying the results ever since.
Walnut Grove was first known as Green-Mont Country Club due to the property straddling the Greene and Montgomery county line. In1935, articles of incorporation were filed and the new corporation officially became known as Walnut Grove Country Club. Since that beginning, Walnut Grove has become one of the premier country clubs in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Venues To Suit Any Occasion
Walnut Grove Country Club has the space and amenities that make planning a private event or corporate meeting effortless, with six different venues to suit any occasion – our Main Dining Room, Greenmont Room, Mixed Grille, Walnut Room, The Grove, and Terrace.
